  这几天,西岗区更新街19号楼门前的楼院广场新安装的两套休闲长凳格外醒目。和以往休闲座椅不同的是,其底座地下有一个钥匙孔,外立面上还写着“人人动手清扫 共建美好日新”的标语。打开钥匙,两副手套、两套除雪锹、扫帚、锤子、胶布、钢钉等工具映入眼帘。

  这些工具都是由日新街道专门配备的,工具箱的钥匙平时由楼长保管,只要居民想参与楼院清扫活动,随时欢迎自取工具。日前,日新街道举行“市容环境综合整治暨清扫工具进楼院启动仪式”,向辖区60个楼院发放了清扫工具,年底前,全街道148个和谐楼院都将安装清扫工具箱。

  经过近十年由政府主导对辖区居民生活环境、居住环境、活动环境持续不断的资金投入,日新街道共建成和谐楼院148个(其中30个楼院经过提升改造),近15万平老旧住宅进行了暖房工程改造,栽种月季、蔷薇、牡丹等花卉6万余株。辖区居民的居住环境、生活环境和活动环境有了根本性改变。每个楼院都有几个主动清扫楼道、打理花坛的积极分子,于是街道决定把工具送上门,全方位支持和激励居民劳动热情。

  为进一步优化市容环境品质、规范城市管理行为、提升城市管理效能,日新街道今年将以“一场战役,八次会战”为突破口,主要通过清理卫生死角、清理道路及公共设施、垃圾分类、整治城市“十乱”等专项活动来全方位提升街道城市管理水平。
